OUR TEAM
Ryan Jantzen
Ryan is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry. Prior to forming Inlet Real Estate Capital, Ryan was co-Head of Origination at Ladder Capital. His responsibilities included managing a twenty member production team with annual production volume of over $3 billion that actively originated CMBS, balance sheet and mezzanine loans and acquired strategic assets for the firm.
During his 12 year tenure at Ladder, Ryan personally originated over $3.5 billion of loans and equity investments. His day-to-day responsibilities included spearheading all aspects of new business development including sourcing deals, structuring and negotiating transactions on behalf of the company.
Prior to joining Ladder Capital in 2009 Ryan worked at Merrill Lynch in the Global Real Estate Group with a focus on originating long-term fixed-rate loans for securitization and is a graduate of Binghamton University.
Michael FitzMaurice
Michael has over 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry, most recently serving as a Director at Ladder Capital on the Originations team.
Throughout his career, Michael has facilitated the origination, underwriting, and closing efforts of over $3 billion of transactions across bridge, CMBS, and mezzanine loans, and equity investments. Michael's primary responsibilities included sourcing, structuring, and negotiating new investment opportunities. Additionally, Michael led asset management efforts for structured balance sheet loans, mezzanine positions, and equity investments.
Prior to Ladder Capital, Michael worked at CIT (now First Citizens Bank) in the Real Estate Finance Group. Michael has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate from Lehigh University.
